Rage pick up a win Saturday night

first_imgThe second period saw Dawson Creeks Ryan Matthews open the scoring with a perfect deflection. Eventually the Wild would answer back with a quick powerplay goal. Tempers would flare throughout the game with numerous fights and physical play. The score remained  tied as the second period came to an end.The third period had both teams up their urgency level. Wenatchee took the early lead, only to have Dawson Creek fight back with a goal from defenseman Evan Ripley. With just minutes left in the game Ryan Matthews would put the Rage up 3-2. Wenatchee battled back and tied the game at 3. This forced another overtime, only this time the Rage’s Austin Adduono would play hero, finalizing the score at 4-3 for the visiting team.On Friday night, the Rage suffered a tough overtime lose to Wenatchee losing 4-3.- Advertisement -The Rage will now play Wenatchee again this afternoon before heading off to Fresno for their last two games on the road before Christmas.last_img read more
