Chili Cook-Off will raise funds for Pioneer Museum

first_img Seven teams have already entered the Great Bowls of Fire Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 23, and more are expected to cast their lot into the chili pot.The chili cook-off entry fee is $25 and admits four team members to the event.Each team is required to prepare five gallons of their own special chili recipe. The teams’ chili will be judged twice, once by a panel of judges and a second time by those who cast dollar votes for their favorite pot. “The Great Bowls of Fire Chili Cook-Off is already shaping up to be a great event,” Roling said. “The cook-off will begin at 10 a.m. with chili served from11 a.m. until 2 p.m.” Chili Cook-Off will raise funds for Pioneer Museum Troy falls to No. 13 Clemson Tickets for the cook-off are $15 per person or $25 for two and include chili and bottled water.  Soft beverages and hotdogs will be available for an additional fee.A family ticket is $60 and includes a year’s membership to the Pioneer Museum of Alabama.  One hundred dollar tickets are also available with amenities including adult beverages and seating for the music.
