They surrender 28 points per game, as they are tied for 88th nationally with several other schools.BYU is led by sophomore signal-caller Zach Wilson who completes 64.5 percent of his passes thus far on the season for 440 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.Graduate transfer tailback Ty’Son Williams is averaging 5.7 yards per carry and has run for three scores already this season.Senior receiver Micah Simon is BYU’s leading receiver as he averages 16.2 yards per grab this season.Junior linebacker Kavika Fonua has an interception in his role as the Cougars’ defensive leader.After defeating Fresno State and Stanford at the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Trojans play their first road game of the season Saturday.USC is 82-30-8 (.717) all-time in road openersThe Trojans are currently 40-48-5 all-time against current NCAA FBS independent schools.USC is tied for 38th nationally by symmetrically scoring 38 points per game in wins over the Bulldogs and Cardinal.The Trojans are tied for 52nd nationally in scoring defense by giving up 21.5 points per contest.After losing rising star sophomore quarterback JT Daniels to injury, the Trojans have been blessed by the talents of freshman signal-caller Kedon Slovis in his absence.The phenom out of Scottsdale, Ariz., completed almost 83 percent of his passes (34-41) for 434 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in USC’s 45-20 win over Stanford September 7.The Trojans’ leading rusher is redshirt junior tailback Vavae Malepeai who is averaging 5 yards a carry this season and has already run for three scores.Redshirt junior receiver Tyler Vaughns ranks eighth nationally with 256 receiving yards and a score on 16 catches and sophomore wide-out Amon-Ra St. Brown has 13 receptions for 135 yards and a pair of scores for the Trojans.Defensively, freshman defensive lineman Drake Jackson already has three sacks, while redshirt sophomore safety Isaiah Pola-Mao and redshirt sophomore cornerback Greg Jackson have an interception apiece for USC.
