Just two miles from business centre Canary Wharf, the airport has already seen the introduction of twice-daily Lufthansa flights to Berlin this week, while British Airways is planning to launch routes to Nice, Barcelona and Warsaw from the hub in the spring.Paul Collins, a spokesperson for Buy Association, said: “It’s difficult with transport networks because there are certain things that really push up property prices and really help things out and there are other things that might serve to put people off a little bit from certain areas.” London City Airport was, however, a particular case, he claimed, explaining: “[It] is a bit of a different one because it’s very much an urban airport and has always been right in the middle of residential areas so there aren’t any huge planes that use it.”He claimed that noise disruption would be minimal, despite the passenger terminal being expanded to accommodate another 40,000 flights per year.ReturnOne wayMulti-cityFromAdd nearby airports ToAdd nearby airportsDepart14/08/2019Return21/08/2019Cabin Class & Travellers1 adult, EconomyDirect flights onlySearch flights Map RelatedSouthend raises London air travel hopesSouthend Airport could provide the answer to London’s air travel conundrum as the Essex hub was put up for sale.London City is ‘best UK airport’London City Airport has come out top among UK hubs in a passenger survey.UK domestic air travel ‘booming’A report published in November 2007 revealed that regional airports in the UK were growing faster than London hubs.last_img
